Being a Russian Federation citizen, what are my options in regards to bying a pass similar to Eutrail (i undersatnd that i cannot purchase one because of my citizenship)? Thanks.

Hey Tulochka,
Unfortunatley Eurail only opens the rail pass to non-europeans. They consider the Russian Federation, Turkey and Tunisia, Morroco and Algiers encompassed in this rule.

You CAN purchase and use a BritRail pass however, if you end up travelling around England Scotland or Wales. BritRail passes are not open to UK residents…

And in the US there is an Amtrak Pass that we cannot get or use.

I think the train systems do this to expose young people to a great way of travelling, when it may not have been their first inklination.
