You certainly are travelling through high season, so it might be wise to book your trains ahead of time, if you can. Although if you aren’t certain of your exact travel plans, a rail pass is a great way to go! It allows you flexibility, and you can pay it ahead of time, in USD, and don’t have to worry about the dollar going down and down in value.
