Hey everyone, So I am venturing over to France/Italy for the first time and I am curious if anyone has any recommendations on what the best way to travel is? I have been told, also what the cheapest most flexible way of travel is. Thanks

Hey Brian,

Definitely taking the train is the best way to go. Depending on your time frame, a France Railpass might be the most economical way to get around. There is also the 12-25 card which you may be able to get (you’d get it in France). It’ll cost a few hundred bucks, but you’ll then get 50% off every train ticket. So, if you are traveling just a few times, get the France Railpass (I can actually book that for you). If you are traveling a lot, maybe look into the 12-25 card. You can also get a France and Italy Railpass…
I hope this helps! France is so beautiful. You’re going to have a great time. I can be reached at 800-206-3877, if you’d like help getting your tickets, etc. I work at the Pittsburgh STA Travel office.
