My friend and I are looking into taking a tour of Guatemala, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and surrounding area, but we can only go in July/August. We have found a lot of conflicting information about the weather. We are hoping for sun, but many sites say that is the worst time of year to go. I am wondering if anybody has any first hand experience with these places during that time of the year

This trip sounds pretty cool. I’ve only been Nicaragua out of the places your going-but I loved it there. I did go in Nov-so I missed the rainy season. The Rainy season is from May-Sept so you will be going right in the middle of it. I think it depends
on how you will be traveling. If you plan on camping it might not be the best time to go. But I always say-what is a little rain. If you have any questions about Nica let me know.
