Planning a huge rail trip across Europe leaving later this week from London… any ideas on must-sees in Norway and Sweden, besides Stockholm and Oslo? The ferry from Denmark is included in Eurail pass, right? Also, I’m looking at a rail map and it looks really hard to get from southern Croatia to Greece (have to back track a ton). Is this right? Maybe a ferry would be easier. And I’m probably going alone, so if anyone wants to join me for a leg drop a line.
I actually doubt my time will allow for those two unfortunately, but it would be around April 15-22 if I could fit it in.
Here is how my trail looks now: flying to Lisbon, then the rest on rails…
Lisbon – Madrid – Valencia – Marseilles – Nice – Geneva – Interlaken – Luzern – Munich – Salzburg – Vienna – Budapest – Berlin – Copenhagen – Stockholm – Oslo and then to Scotland, time permitting
I’m trying to leave by Thursday so we’ll see if I can fit that all into 4 or 5 weeks…
