I am doing a study abroad in Geneva this summer. Searches suggest that there isn’t much for people our age to do in Geneva itself – i.e. nightlife, excursions, etc.
Do you know of any fun things to do in, around, or within, say 2 hours by rail of Geneva?
I am looking for anything to do, from cooking classes to chocolate factory tours, from skydiving to sunbathing. Also, I am looking for bar/nightclub suggestions within Geneva. Tell me where to go and what to do! Haha
I can’t answer the nightclubs question, but I can give you some suggestions on other stuff to do:
We have excursions to: Chamonix and Mont Blanc, Gstaad, Gruyeres, Lausanne, and the countryside.
The Gruyeres and Golden Express one sounds amazing:

Will then continue our gastronomic discovery in a cheese-dairy where you will sample some local manufactured cheese.

Next we will catch the Panoramic Golden Express, this train passes above the Lake Leman and permits to enjoy the panoramic view on the beautiful countryside around the lake.
After that, we will take the bus again to cover the Lavaux vineyards road, classified like one of the most beautiful place of this world by the Unesco, to reach the village of Epaisse where we invite you to taste some wine and grape juice in a wine cellar.”
