my photos
This was taken as we pulled into Cape Town at sea. We crossed the entire Southern Atlantic Ocean, coming from Salvador, Brazil.
I visited a school and ended up seated in front of one thousand praying children for a half hour. It was magnificent.
I traveled alone to Ha Long Bay from Saigon, and these women approached our little boat with beautiful fruits and then rowed their boats away with their feet.
Tea bushes stretched for miles all over these beautiful hills. The colors were not enhanced…it was that lush and beautiful.
Me trying to be funny on the Great Wall, an hour and a half outside Beijing. The forbidden parts of the Wall were the most rewarding…get away from the screaming tourists!
We hiked through the rainforest and then jumped in this freezing waterfall. A very good time had by all.
The most exhausting trekking experience of my life, and I highly recommend it to all. Go to Lencois, Bahia, Brazil, find a trekker on the street or ask for Arnaudo, and just go. The rain just makes it more fun.
Mauritius is secluded, inexpensive, and an exciting blend of cultures. Travel away from Flicq en Flacq beach, the north, as well as Port Louis. The best destinations are the remote areas with untouched beauty.
There was a sign that said “Clarks”...and I had to get a picture with my last name.
The city of Chennai is covered in smog and pollution, thanks to the coal refinery nearby. So when we docked in India, we had to make our own photogenic scene.
