Veracruz is a beautiful beach port located by the Golf of Mexico and is close to Mexico city. Probably about 4 hrs. driving. It’s also tropical.
This a a nice “capilla” on the side of the main road. People built this small chappels where a lot of people has die in accidents due to a dangerous road.
This ruins are in Veracruz area. The best ones you wil find them in Cancun area by Quintana Roo state such as Chichen itza and Toulum.
The bus transportation is the most common transportation within Mexico and is also very unexpensive. To say an exemple 2 hrs by bus ticket will cost about 60mxn pesos equivalent to 6usd.
Relax in a “Maca”. Most people uses “macas” to relax during the day, specially if is a hot day.
Normally on the Ranchos people use trucks, thouse are the best type of cars because of the dirty roads and they are very useful too.
At the “Mercado” you can find all kinds of fruits and vegetables fresh and also alot of different things such as arts and crafts as well.
Please don’t forget to get your souvernirs before departure. You can find them cheaper at any open market “mercado” or on the streets. At the airport is more expensive.
