Cape Reinga Day Trip from the Bay of Islands-The furthest North you can go In New Zealand….
Mercury Bay-Great little cove area on the way to Hot Water Beach frmo Auckland-Beware the massive hike to get there!!
In Rotorua you can head out to the forest for a Traditional Maori Hangi Dinner with great food and entertainment.
Some massive hole in a rock you can check out on a Bay of Islands cruise-I recomend the Excitor Boat as it is high speed and so much fun!!
Hanging out on the edge of the river-We had to jump down about 10 ft with a tube attaced to our asses….
Weird little place the Kiwi Bus takes you on the way out of Wanaka but Mav is a legend!!
Pretty little refelecting lake-These are all over the place it seems but very cool still….
If you travel with the Kiwi Bus you will have a night at Lake Mahinapua for a night of nithing but dressing up silly and drinking too many Snake Bites!! Later on when the pub closes you can trek down to the lake for some late night music and fun….
One of the many funky stops along the way but I didn’t partake in the posum for brekkie….
If you use one of the hop on/hop off buses like Kiwi Exp or Stray you will stop during the day at many amazing places like this where you can take a dip in some of the bluest water….
Wanaka is a great little laid back town before you hit Queenstown-Basially offers everything Queenstown does but without all the people. This is the view from our amazing hostel that night that had real mattress and even bathtubs in our private ensuite bathrooms….
Having morning tea with our Kiwi Bus drivers Mum in Westport….
This was our hostel and party pub for the night-If it looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere that’s cause it is!!
Some of the guys swam with wold dolphins here during the Cape Reinga day trip on the North Island….
You can see where the Pacific and the Tasman Sea combine here-Furthert NOrth you can go In New Zealand
After heading up to Cape Reinga and the sandboarding they take you onto 90 Mile Beach for a drive and maybe a tow out of a smaller bus….
