This is at Schloss (German for castle) Neuschwanstein in the Bavarian Alps of Germany. This man was somewhat of a Busker (street performer) who stood on a bridge overlooking the castle. He would offer to take people’s photos for them and talk about the castle with them for a bit. At the end of the bridge was a briefcase with a picture of himself and a short description of what he was there for. In the briefcase people could put money if they appreciated his efforts. I just loved the way he was dressed in tradition Bavarian outfit, and asked him for if I could make a picture of him. Immediately he struck a pose and waited earnestly for me to take the picture. I was almost laughing as I took the picture. I thanked him for the opportunity, and dropped a few Euros in his briefcase; a small price for such a photo.

This is Cosy Corner in Byron Bay, Australia. The rock peninsula in the background is the most Easterly point of the Australian mainland (so cool, I know) This is my friend checking out the break before we headed out for a day of surfing.
