Spring Break Photo Contest Submissions
This is a memorial built to the Jewish people who were killed. None of the pillars stand on the same coordinates. They are all different sizes, spaced differently etc to create the experience of walking alone towards an unknown fate.
London is a busy city, frequently photographed with bustling people. This shot is from my flat around 6am on a Sunday morning near Holborn, a business district that doesn’t see much activity during the weekend.
Reflected in the back of a soldiers helmet are the members of the crowd who have gathered to watch the changing of the guards in Stockholm Sweden.
These two gentleman were ecstatic to meet an American, they stood with a sign and handed out literature to anyone who would listen to their “end the war in Iraq” campaign. Just two men, trying to be heard.
