During my 6 months abroad living in Australia, I took a week vacation to the South Island of New Zealand. This photo was taken in Paradise, New Zealand, and I think this spot was the closest I’ve ever been to my idea of Paradise. Also, for those that like “The Lord of the Rings”, this was one site used in the filming of the movie. I went on horseback through the area in a group of five people and one guide. Some of the horses we rode were used in the movies, but not mine. I think he was bitter. He kept running me into prickly Manuka trees…
