Spring Break Photo Contest Submissions
A few fisherman remain on the Douro river in Porto, Portugal as the sun gets ready to sink, hoping to get the last bite before retiring for the day.
The sun sets over Venice at the end of a beautiful day in artists’ paradise, with the cranes’ subtle reminder of the natural destruction of such a captivating city and the attempts that are made to preserve it for more generations. The gondola docks can be seen in the foreground.
The Dents Du Midi range can be seen here from Leysin, Switzerland on a foggy day looking over the Rhone Valley, where the early evening sets a perfect scene for a view of the Alps.
That’s right, I couldn’t help but laugh, and while there were lots of stares in his direction all around him from tourists and locals alike, I don’t think he cared at all (nor did the people he was talking to for so long, but do you think their conversation was about what happened to his clothes?). So if this isn’t a new perspective of a popular destination, I’ll just have to go back and get something else just as classy as this. All I have to say is, doesn’t that have to hurt, I mean tattooed and pierced? And what did the tourist guide on that bus say as they drove by?
