Take a Seat

This photo was taken in Montpellier, France while I was exploring the city with a friend. The sun was signing brightly and I walked under a bridge to find a beautiful bench, with the light shining perfectly onto the seat, almost euphorically. After Montpellier, we travelled to Barcelona, Spain, where I am currently living and studying abroad, and taking more photos.

Neverending Tunnel

My friends and I spent the weekend in la Vall de Boí, a quaint little ski town near the border of France and Spain in the Pyrenees mountains. We encountered herds of sheep, roaming cattle, flowing waterfalls and a vast landscape. On the drive up in the morning I took my camera to the back window and shot this photo of the car behind us, coming into the tunnel. The fog luring around the tunnel made for an intriguing photograph.

Pour Decortiquez au Paradis

While traveling around France with friends, we headed towards the French Alps to snowboard. This photo was taken at the Isola mountain resort, where a car had been deserted after an apparent accident. The spring trees against the white snow added heightened contrast.

Hawaiian Seas

This evening, the sunset just outside of Hanalei Bay, Kauai were marvelous. My friend and I were enjoying a week in Kauai after we finished up another year in college. We were lucky enough to watch the sun set over the water.

Mirando a Barcelona

On top of one of the mountains of Barcelona rests Parc Guell. Here, one can see fascinating sculptures by and a relaxing park designed by Antoní Gaudí, not to mention the best view of the city. The park is just one of the many reasons Barcelona is my favorite city in the world.

Guarding the Windsor Castle

No one takes their job more seriously than the guards of Windsor Castle. My friend and I traveled around Europe for a month and favored London’s Windsor Castle for its intense history.

Lake by Neuschwanstein Castle

This lake by the Neuschwanstein Castle, in the middle of Germany, was almost more amazing than the castle itself. My friends and I decided to rent a paddle boat and went out onto the lake for nearly three hours, exploring the area. One of my friends even decided to jump in.
