We just got back from 8 days in New Zealand. While in Queenstown we took a Paradise Safari Tour with stops to see Lord of the Rings filming sites. This picture is Colleen and me re-inacting the scene in the Two Towers (the second movie) where Frodo and Samwise are spying on a group of soldiers with huge elephant-like creatures traveling to fight for Sauron. According to our tour guide, who was a lot of fun and very knowledgable, and the stills he had we are lying in the exact same place as Elijah Wood and Sean Astin. We are not total Lord of the Rings freaks, but we are fans and got pretty dorky on the tour. The time in New Zealand was the most amaing time I’ve ever had.
