My best friend Kent and I started traveling together through school two years ago and ever since then we have been almost inseparable. Kent and I love to travel the adventurous way: get up with your backpack and just go! And no matter what happens along the way, it is always fun and always an adventure ( with lots of stories to tell our friends about). The history is this: while we attended Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, we had the opportunity to go on tour with the school’s choir. In Prague, we connected and realized that we have such similar interests—we love to cook, camp, hike and TRAVEL! Since then we have had some exciting road trips and adventures together. We took a road/camping trip along the Great Lakes and saw beautiful Niagara Falls, Killbear Provincial Park in Ontario, and Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore (hidden treasures, I might add). We have recently taken a backpacking trip to San Francisco where we spent time hiking and seeing the sights. We have to travel the cheap way, since both of us are paying our way through school. Now that I am in graduate school in Illinois and he is finishing his undergrad in Minneapolis ,we don’t get to see each other but once every three weeks! Time for another trip…and Australia would be magical!! Or Morocco, or Turkey, or Thailand or Greece or Brazil, or India, or …those are really our top seven wonders of our unseen world :)
