Julie’s and my signature tour was “KAJTATOE” – Kate and Julie’s Totally Awesome Tour of Europe (the term was coined in Amsterdam). Using Busabout for transportation, after our semester abroad in London together, we took Europe by storm and created countless memories. Last summer, we treated ourselves to a Greek island cruise (“KAJTAGIC”), and spent our mornings exploring, our afternoons drinking carafes of house wine and speaking our 10 words of Greek with the waiters, and our evenings on board taking part in activities like “Rock-A-Rokie”. This year, we are hoping for “KAJTADAA” – Kate and Julie’s Totally Awesome Drive Across America. We both have a relaxed attitude towards life that enables us to laugh at anything and everything (even wandering the streets of Omonia (=bad area) in Athens at 3:00 am because the streets were less scary than our hostel) (because of that we discovered cheese pies/tiropita), and are always up for an adventure. I lived in Sydney for 6 months on exchange, and would love to have the opportunity to explore the East Coast with someone who I know would truly appreciate it!
