So last year my brother became new favorite travel buddy. Although we grew up taking trips with our family, we had never embarked on our own adventure together as adults. So after years of talking about all the exotic and exciting places we were going to visit, I finally sent my brother an email last November saying “lets do it.” A week later we had plane tickets for Egypt, and left only 3 or 4 weeks later. Luckily, we discovered that we have the same methodology when it comes to traveling: pick a starting point, and get recommendations for the next destination along the way, NO reservations allowed!!! We spent an amazing 2 weeks backpacking throughout the country, and spent Christmas in the Siwa Oasis with some incredible people from the town. It was an unforgettable adventure that will hopefully be re-lived many times over in other destinations throughout the world!
