I traveled with San Diego City College through Europe with a group of photographers for a month and had a few days on my own to solo travel. We visited Italy, Austria, Czec. Republic, France and on my own I saw Holland, Switzerland, and Spain.
The sun began to set as I made my way from Notre Dam over to the Eiffle Tower but the city stayed alive and began to glimmer with light. I took this pic while walking along the Seine and admiring the beautiful house boats and romantic couples that filled Paris.
The whole town of Lyon came together and celebrated the victory that their country just had in the world cup. Everyone ranted and raved, jumped into the fountain and started a train of excitement as well as climbed the statue and lit off road flares. Everyone around me cheered and this was one moment I will never forget about my trip. I was so happy that I had brought my camera with me on that night out! France won against Portugual in the wolrd cup in the summer of ’06.
Nestled along the Mediterranean Sea lies the Cinque Terre, consisting of five small fishing villages that each have their own charming character. Each city can be traveled to by hiking, a train or boat!
Lost in the puzzle of canals in Venice I wandered into the local side far from San Marcos to get a glimpse of Venetian life.
From the bottom of the Eiffle Tower and looking up, I spun in a circle to get this shot and kept my shutter open to get the light streaks.
Seeing the Tower for the first time took my breath away. I turned the corner and there it was a few blocks away. It was what I was waiting for years, and seeing it in person seemed like an optical illusion. My eyes were having a field day, I think I stood out in front and gazed at the tower for an hour realizing how amazing this trip to Europe really was.
On the Vappareto headed to San Marcos you can see gondolas everywhere filled with locals and tourists combined.
Tucked away in the city of Lyon is the Rose tower and as legend has it there was a promisquous daught of a rich family who lived at the top and would have gentleman callers climb up to visit her. If she liked them then they stayed, if not she would push them out and that is why the color is the way it is today!
I took this picture with Infrared film to give it the mysterious old-age look while I was on top of the Arc de Triomphe.
I loved Prague because it was the most foreign city that I visited while in Europe. It so much culture and the language was so unique! Wandering through the Castle District was like a journey through time, I felt so far away from my normal life as if I was viewing the past.
I never expected the night to unfold the way it did, the strets were crowded with locals celebrating the event and drinking all night. When the time came the morning sun was begining to rise and the crowd was ready for the event. The sound of a gunshot was fired and the crowd roared, the chase was on. Hundreds ran for their lives and in a split second the bulls were running. They were these massive creatures running in anger after those who were in the streets!
Salzburg was a beautiful town with happy people and amazing sights, not to mention fantastic beers!!
I loved hiking around the town and then coming to an opening where you coulc overlook the city and enjoy the arcitechture.
It was raining but we took the chance and rain to the top of the hill. Jenny and I were out of breath and soaking wet trying to keep our cameras dry. We stayed up there until we got the shot we wanted, we were amazed by the lightning strom we got ourselves caught in!
In the town center a group of beggers stop of a smoke and a drink to view the tourists walking around.
I changed the contrast to give this an erie view- I can picture a vampire living in this castle haha like Count Dracula!
At nighttime in Prague the castles light up and reflec on the river for a breath-taking view.
This pic was snapped just at the right time as the pigeon had its wings strechted out. I washed my hands for about 10 minutes after holding the bird! haha
Down 300 feet below the busy city lies the remain of over 17 million people bodies from the plauge. You can walk though the dark and damp hallways of human bones piled up in row after row!
I didn’t expect Amsterdam to be so beautiful! The buildings, the canals, and all the bikes! I had a great time!

Night came around and I felt like I should get out of the Red Light District but thats really when the place became alive. Yes it is true, there are prostitues and drugs but its not as scary as you’d expect it to be
Vondel Park was a beautiful place to lounge. It was so great to see people enjoying the company of their friends. I feel like people don’t take the time to do this enough in the United States.
I headed over to Switzerland to Paraglide among the swiss alps. It was 45 minutes of feeling like a bird. Interlaken is a great place for adventure that brings together many daring travelers alike!
Looking down over the bright blue lake as you watch the other paraglider flying below. This was at 4500 feet!
I rented a scouter and headed out of town to see what life was like in the villages. I was impressed by the calm and comfortable villages I came acrossed. I wouldn’t mind waking up there everyday!
