Joe and I are very close friends who both really love to travel! Honestly, it’s my favorite thing to do. I could call it a hobby, but I don’t have enough money to travel as much as I’d like to. Last summer we traveled to Europe; we did the whole shabang, meaning we started and ended in London, traveled to 9 different countries, camped and stayed in hostels, and had an unlimited eurail pass. One funny, but exciting instance, occurred in Zürich, Switzerland. We were hopping aboard a night train to Milan, Italy, really just passing through Zürich, when our train left without us. The problem is, our bags were still on it. So we were stuck in Zürich all night without our heavy backpacks. We put in a lost and found request and wouldn’t know until the next day. The awesome part is, Zürich was a beautiful city; it turned out to be one of the best days of the trip. Not to mention the incredibly huge Lindt chocolate bar we bought the next morning. We were on a train out no later than noon the next day, which put us back on track (literally). I’d love to take many more trips with this person, and this is an awesome, one in a lifetime opportunity to see Australia (can’t get “Australia” by the Kinks out of my head).
