My best friend Sadie and I are at the point where we know everything about each other and now when we hang out, we don’t even have to speak to know what the other is thinking. We do active things together like soccer, basketball, snowboarding, and even traveling. We just recently watched episodes of “The Girls Next Door” and realized that as we grow into our twenties, we really would like to travel to places outside North America. Obviously because we are in college we have to put those plans on hold, however, when I saw this I knew it could be our chance to branch out without having to worry about the expenses. I go to school in Los Angeles and she stayed at school in Wisconsin, so now for most of the year, we are apart. We went from seeing each other every single day, to just over holiday breaks. Nothing more would be as fun as being able to go to Australia together. If you allowed us to have the opportunity to go, the trip would definitely be used to the fullest extent. We are adventurous and love trying new things, which won’t make us hesitate about enjoying the great country. We have traveled together twice. Once when we were 13 on our eighth grade trip to NYC and another our senior year of high school to Cancun. Our most recent trip together is the most memorable so far; we had a lot of fun playing beach soccer and volleyball with the locals and enjoying the sun during Wisconsin’s cold winter. At night, my Aunt was snoring so badly that we couldn’t sleep so we stayed up playing Cribbage and flipped on a music channel, when the Spice Girls “Wannabe” song came on. We got up and dances the same dance moves as the Girl Power group and just spent the night laughing. I guess we were born best friends because God knew either of our parents couldn’t handle us as sisters. Haha. Just one of our conversations across the country the other night online: Sades: i sent it to you, Sades: mentally, Me: lol ya i got the message, Sades: damn were good, Me: GENIOUS, Sades: can’t spell it but we are. We’re fun, exciting, smart, and adventurous best friends who would appreciate and make the most of the trip! Please!
