Friends

I randomly messaged Holly before our trip abroad to Germany in the summer of 2007. She was going a few months before me so I asked her what it was like and what to expect. When I arrived in Berlin I found out that Holly and I were actually living together! It was completely random, we were even scheduled to leave Germany on the same day!

From that point on Holly and I became inseparable. We had so much in common it was like we could read each other’s minds and would finish each other’s sentences. It was unreal how well we got along and clicked that people thought we were basically twins.

During our summer abroad, Holly and I traveled to the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria and we even had the chance to drive over to Italy for dinner one night. We had some crazy-fun times along the way and shared memories that I will never forget.

Unfortunately, Holly attends school in Nevada and I’m here in Iowa. Saying goodbye to my best friend was one of the hardest things I had to do. It would be incredible (in the best way ever) if we could go on another trip together! While in Austria, our last destination together, one of many jokes was that we didn’t know where we were because I would always say we were in Australia instead of Austria. Maybe, just maybe that was unknown foreshadowing towards our next trip together.

We would be ecstatic and make the most of the 14-day Australian Adventure. No words could describe how thankful Holly and I would be toward STA Travel for reuniting the two of us! There would be no better reunion than to spend it in the land down under!!
