Steph & I? No, I think it’s Steph & me.

There are so many funny stories! We got lucky, being stuck together as roommates this year. You’ll notice we’re very goofy and laid-back in person, but we know when to crack down on our studies, and all those decisions.

Our “ice-breaker” could be baking a cake or getting friends together for a game in between Finals, or taking a trip to start off the new semester. For example, the group trip to Sunday River, a ski mountain in Maine, USA. Ski mountains used to scare me as much as skateboarding ramps. This year we had fun, which truly triggers progress. She’d been skiing for a while, and it was really my second day snowboarding, but we tried the small half pipe on our last run (crazy). Sometimes it’s nice to just let go, although you’re going at higher speeds than ever without anything to hold on to, and then to cheer and laugh about it later. I say we bring out the best and most diverse qualities in each other….gotta luv roomies!

Traveling with this chica! From sun up to lights out, nothing is lame. Even surfing, when most beginners here in Maine would be cold & frustrated, we’re the determined kooks, but also the best surfers: The greatest surfers are the ones having the most fun out in the water.. And afterwards, to help with club meetings, and study.

I would love for us to bring that energy across the world to Australia!

The basic story:
My roommate is my favorite person in the world, and we don’t travel with each other enough! We were going to take a week for surfing in North Carolina this March with the Surf Addiction club (especially since I’m running the beach clean-up to get this trip funded), but the housing agency in NC can’t accept anyone who’s not 21 or older, bummer.
A trip to Australia? We’d be jumping up and down all night, whatever night we get a special email…crossed fingers
