I love this shot, although it was cloudy, the golgen statues still glimmered like magic. This photo was taken at the Grand Place in Bangkok!
I felt like I was seeing something from out of the movies when this group of monks walked passed with the beautiful arcitecture in the background! It really is so impressive to see with your own eyes, words are not enough to justify!
I took this picture in Ayuthaya, Thailand’s ancient capital. You can walk right up the the ruins and emmerse yourself into the past.
I’ve always have been called a tree-hugger and I’ve never wanted to hug a tree more in my life than when I saw this one! haha You can not get near it, but this was in Ayuthaya at Wat Mahathat.
Looking down through cracks in a bridge I saw this sight when I was in Talin Chang, a few miles west of Bangkok. It is a quite little town and a great escape from the city if you do not want to travel to far or you do not have time. They will cook you luch right out of their boats!!!
While in Bangkok you have to check out this enormous reclining Buddha statue not far from the Grand Palace and the architecture surrounding the Buddha is beautiful. A must see!
To all you history buffs out there, take a trip to Kanchaburi and visit the many museums that go into detail about what happened right here on this railway!
