Just imagining getting the chance to travel to Australia blows my mind; however, having my best friend Nina, coming along with me, makes it unbelievable. We have been best friends for years with many great memories. Day trips to the Jersey shore or finding crazy ways to get to New York City, we always seem to have an amazing time together and find little things that make our trips even more memorable. I remember driving from Philadelphia to Newark, singing and eating candy the whole way, trying to figuring out the ticket machines and riding the train into New York City-it’s an adventure wherever we go. We saw all the sites you can in New York City, went into many stores and ate dinner at the Hard Rock Café. As we picked up a shirt, we both liked, to look at the back, we realized that it came with matching panties. It startled us and to this day, we joke about the shirt with matching panties. So, we made shirts with the quote from the Hard Rock on the front and then on the bottom we put “I have matching panties.” The best part about our friendship is our similarity, love for seeing new things and traveling. With every new experience, we take everything we can get out of it. We have been there for each other, good times and bad times- eating ice cream throughout all of them. It’s now a tradition every summer to take at least one day trip to Wildwood, New Jersey. We get up early in the morning and pack the car with coolers of food, friends, and fun. While driving down the highway and back roads, we open all the windows, sunroof down with music blaring while we sing at the top of our lungs to that song we were obsessed with in the sixth grade. From making tacos on vacations home from school to getting flowers from McDonald’s on the way home from a meeting, we love spending time together, even to the point where some people think we are sisters. After any trip, we always sit together and go through our many pictures- the great scenery shots, to group shots and funny ones we don’t even remember taking. I could not imagine traveling with anyone but Nina because we always have an amazing time together, no matter what we end up doing.
