Viewing Album Yellowstone National Park

9 photos

Now that I live in Montana, going to Yellowstone is like going to the grocery store, I can go whenever I want and all year round! Theses photos were taken on different days while I was visiting.

My Parents In Front Of The Continental Divide

On the drive through Yellowstone we passed the Continental Divide sign and my parents thought it an opportunity to take a picture

The Gibbon Falls

Its a gorgeous black rock waterfall, its gradual fall gives it more serenity and aesthetics. It’s often quite crowded.

Upper Falls

I believe that this is a picture of the Upper Falls in Yellowstone. The sound of the crashing water is so powerful that it is hard to hear your neightbour.

Elk at the Entrance

These elk were quietly minding their own business at the Park’s main hub at the entrance (where the hotel lodging, mercantile and such are located).

Old Faithful

What’s Yellowstone National Park without Old Faithful? Here she’s going at full blast against the beautiful blue Montana sky.

Bison in the Feilds

Bison are regulars around the park, you will have no trouble finding a flock of them. They can be quite close to the road but I don’t suggest getting out of your car to take a picture that close unless you want to get gored.

My Silly Friends

I am deathly scared of heights so I took the picture instead. They’re standing over a cliff in the region where Yellowstone got its name.

Funny Warning

I just thought this sign was hilarious; informative, but hilarious.

Thermal Activity

I must admit, I am kinda scared of Yellowstone, considering molten lava is only three miles down and steam comes out of the ground, but my God it’s gorgeous!
