I went back home to Southern California during my Freshman year Spring Break. I love Montana, but nothing beats the fast paced world that is California!
I was bombarded by boxes of snacks and water, pillows, my friend Josh sitting next to me and my purse on the drive from Bozeman to Los Angeles. It was entertaining to say the least!
This is part of Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena, California. I love this town! It has an updated old town feel and it is very welcoming and filled with specialty shops and one of a kind items.
I haven’t seen a palm tree in over nine months! I was so happy that I hugged that very tree (the one in the front)
I was walking though the residential region of Downtown Claremont behind Rhino Records and found this lovely street.
This is the park above Santa Monica Beach which is close to the well-known Venice Beach. I always wonder how a place can be so relaxing next to a busy street.
Right as I was walking over to the water I noticed a man down on one knee so i instantly took out my camera and got the shot after she had said yes and he was picking her up to twirl her! How romantic!
I will never get over how gorgeous the sea is. one day I will live next to that powerful beast.
Walking back over to the Santa Monica pier I noticed hundreds of thousands of flags stationed in the sand, each one representing a killed soldier in the Iraq war.
I was wondering around the beautiful Claremont Colleges and couldn’t help but take this picture of the pathway between two study halls.
Walking around in the Claremont College I notice these beautiful violet flowers and I couldn’t help but sense how lucky these students are to have such beauty around them.
This is my great friend Nikki and I standing in front of a great view of Disneyland. After all, if you’re going to Southern California, you need to go to the Happiest Place on Earth!
ASIMO, which stands for Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility, was featured at Disneyland in the Tomorrowland section of the park. He is the most innovative and stunning robot made to this day.
This is my great friend Derrick and I trying on the silly hats they sell at Disneyland. I would never buy one but by gum they are so much fun to try on!
