It’s the most magnificant at Sunrise and sunset…there are great 2 – 7 days camping trips to the outback as well.
North of Cairns, Cape tribulation is the only place in the world where the rainforest meets the reef.
If you have the time and money, you shoudl do the Sydney bridge walk. Its a little spendy but well worth the breathtaking view of the entire city.
Base Backpackers hostel on Magnetic island is one of the coolest places i’ve stayed, right on the water, this is just one of the amazing views.
Just west of Millaa Millaa is the lookout which is probably the most popular lookout on the Tableland with 180 views from the north west to the south east.
Raging Thunder is the best. They do great tday trips out on the Great Barrier Reef, they have serval boats a day leaving from the marina in Cairns.
The not so fun part of Australia’s summertime. Be very mindful of jellyfish during stinger seasons…one zap and it can be deadly.
