My twin sister Kasey and I are best friends. We love to do everything together and one of our favorite things we share is our love of travel! I recently graduated from college and she is in her senior year. Since childhood we talked about going to different countries and experiencing various cultures. Dreaming about other places captivated our imaginations so easily; especially since we come from a very small town in rural Texas. Amazingly, we have had the oppurtunity to travel domestically and internationally mosty for mission trips. The first time I ever traveled outside of the U.S. was as a volunteer at an orphanage in Guatemala City, Guatemala. My sister was also one of the volunteers and as we worked together we also soaked in the warm Latin culture. Travel for me has been contagious. In the past five years I have visited Guatemala, Nicaruagua, and China. I can’t stop! The only unfortunate thing is you can’t bring your family along with you to share the moments that mean so much to you as you experience new and wonderful things while visting a new area. That is one of the main reasons I would like to travel to Austrailia with my sister. She has always wanted to go and I would love to learn more about the rich cultural history that Ausieland has to offer! It is a plus that the primary language is English and point me to the Ausie boys! Another reason I would love to travel with my sister who is definitly my best mate is the fact that she would love to experience the landscape, food, and most of all surfing!
She has that laid back Ausie attitude already so hopefully we would seem like just a couple of Yanks! Most of all I just want her to have a well deserved break from school. She has been working so hard and this is the diversion she needs. Thanks, Kelley
