If you are on the east coast of australia you MUST do this 3 day trip on fraser island. you rent a 4WD to be shared with 10 people and just explore the island, driving through forests, beaches and mountains. there are gorgeous beaches, crystal green lakes, deserts with sand dunes… you camp out at night and meet tons of people. by far one of the best things i did while over there
