This picture was taken in a village on the outskirts of Katmandu. Although foreigners often stay in the city and frequent the Himalayas some children living just miles from the tourist region have never seen foreigners and especially never had the chance to interact with them. The children were so curious it didn’t take more then ten minutes before our camp was surrounded. Most of them live without electricity and share a water well, but you would never know their hardships by their smiles. I find the people of Nepal to be even more aw inspiring then the incredible the tallest mountains.
