If only for one day in Paris, you have to swing by Notre Dame and its pure High Gothic style. From there it’s a short walk to either the Latin Quarter and Cluny Abbey (more Gothic stuff) or to shopping in the Marais, thequaint Place des Vosges and the hidden Hotel de Sully.
