Located at Wat Pho in Ka Ratanakosin, Bangkok, the Reclining Buddha is a draw for ardent Buddhists and camera-toting travelers alike. It measures in at 157 feet long and 49 feet high and is made of brick and plaster covered with gold leaf. For this shot, I tucked in among the columns near the entrance, avoiding the easier, but less dramatic shot from the Buddha’s feet.
