Just a few hours past the Honduras / Guatemalian boarder is a town called Copan Ruins. Copan Ruins is home to some more beautiful artifacts left by the Mayans. Here Crystal and head headed on horseback throught the farm lands to the Mayan sacrificing grounds. Here our guide showed us where and how the Mayans sacrificed thier new borns. It was so detailed. It even had a troft in the rock for the blood to pour down to. The Mayans are facinating people who believed in sacrifice to their Gods.
