So basically the whole traveling lifestyles of me and julie started when we both went abroad with our school for spring semester of 06’. We went to Florence, Italy, and from there the traveling just didn’t stop. School was pretty put second to traveling when we were over there. We were determined to see all of Europe. Well, turns out every weekend, every holiday, everyday we didn’t have class that’s just what we did. By the end of the semester we has seen 9 different countries and within those even more cities. Coming back to the states was hard but didn’t stop our traveling addiction. At the end of that summer I visited her in San Francisco and we started our 8 day road trip towards Colorado, stopping at every national park we could, even if it was hundreds of miles out of the way. I even thought that Death Valley, being a national park, would be nice, and booked a hotel in the middle of it. Wow, was that stupid of me! We got to the hotel, smack in the middle of the park and saw the hotel…119 degrees, no pool, one gas station, about 6 rooms, a bar (thank god), and a couple of wierdos that called this town home, even though it was located in hell. Well, we stayed there for about 30 minutes and decided that it would be best if we just kept treking, so off we went, making our way to Las Vegas. That was the best decision of my life, pretty sure that hotel would have ended up to be like that hotel on the movie vacancy. scary! But basically we are probably two of the best travelers together, always up for anything, and always have a good time, even when we are fighting. Life’s short you gotta make the best of it, and winning a trip to Australia would be the most amazing time ever!
