Vanessa and I are both resident assistants at Northern Arizona University. We first became friends when we signed up seperately to attend a mission trip to Catalina Island, CA. The trip was amazing and ever since then we have been friends. We both latter found out that each one was applying for the RA position. Later on in the semester Vanessa was assigned to Gillenwater Hall, after the hall went through many choices they decided to pick me up as the third and final RA. When we told each other about our selections we discovered that we were in the same building. Since then it has been an adventure for both of us. With all the programming required for the resident halls it leaves little time to travel. However, every chance we get whether it be a long weekend or spring break the adventures are always entertaining for us and our friends. I would love to go on this once in a lifetime experience with her.
Whether we have to stay on campus or we travel to local venues we always have a great time and try to share our experiences with friends and residents.
The most recent trip that we took was a weekend vacation watch the shows and see the sights in Las Vegas, NV. The trip was amazing and we saw more of the amazing city in three days than I had seen living there on and off for five years.
This trip, if we were to go would give us an amazing opportunity to share the benefits of STA Travel and world adventrues of our hundreds of residents and the many resident assistants we work with.
If given this amazing opportunity it would mean the world to both of us. Thank you for this opportunity and hopefully the chance to travel to Australia!
