I’ve never met anyone quite like my best friend Kristine. I’ve had some rough times over the past few years and through it all, Kristine has been there for me. We are together from the moment we wake up until moment we go to bed and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I remember the moment I realized she was my best friend. She told me the worst nightmare she ever had was one where I didn’t want to be her friend anymore. I’ll never forget how good that made me feel, especially because I knew it would never happen. I remember the moment we became friends. I just had that feeling like I knew something good was going to come from knowing her. It took me a long time to find myself and I truly believe that it was at that very moment that I discovered who I was. Kristine and I haven’t really had the opportunity to travel because of financial reasons. Our most exciting travel story is probably the time we got lost for hours (on purpose) on our way home from the supermarket. Every time we seemed to find our way home, we purposely turned in the wrong direction. We’re always searching for miracle vacation deals but I guess we’re just never in the right place at the right time. I think she’s given up but I refuse to. I want to do something really nice for Kristine as a way of saying thank you for everything. She deserves it.
