When I moved back home to Maine two years ago from Ohio I thought that was the end of my adventures. That summer I found out my best friend Olivia had brain cancer. The two of us had always talked about the trips we were going to take once she graduated high school, unfortunately she didn’t make it to graduation. Last February I was a mess after losing my closest friend and that was when my friend Abbey Sawyer stepped up to help me get through it. Abbey has been there for me and a true friend this past year. She put a smile back on my face by agreeing to travel with me, whether it be an hour and a half from home or all the way to South Carolina. I would love to win this contest for her, so that we can have another great adventure together before college graduation. No one will ever replace Olivia, but for this I couldn’t imagine anyone else I would rather have the adventure of a lifetime then Abbey. Thank you.
