Frances and I met as lowly office temp workers in the great city of Edinburgh (Scotland). Both far from our homes (she’s a Zimbabwean and I’m American); we bonded quickly over our love of travel and the idiosyncracies of Scottish life.

We’ve done quite a bit of tourist-ing together, immersing ourselves in whisky, castles, and the particular spectacle that is the 6 Nations Rugby Cup whilst swapping our life stories and adventures to date.

Alas all good student work visas come to and end, and I’m back in the States for the time being. My motto has always been “have passport , will travel.”
