Leaving my safeguard abode in California, I travel abroad to England, London to be exact. I was on my way to study abroad in a Country I had never been to; going into this experience knowing no souls but my own. Londontown greets me with lost luggage, smokers, insanity and the lovely miss Ali Trovillion. This decision to study in London was made purely out of spontaneity, eagerness to cure my boredom with California and luck. This wish was granted in the package of Ali; a spontaneous, hilarious 21 year old from New York who ironically shares the passion and degree in music as I do! My life with Ali was enduced to adventure. whether it be in our temporary ‘home’, London or on the beaches of Greece; everyone was a winner. Ali and I thrived on adventure and learning all we could from new culture and the people it provided. Ali and I encountered numerous nea and exciting lifestyles through which we absorbed with excitement! The decision to study abroad in a foreign area with no comfort to bring with you except yourself brings about amazing new friends, opportunities, outlooks and experiences that really force one to get to know themself and learn an imense amount! Due to the fact that Ali and I both went to study in London knowing nobody was the most brilliant decision that we have ever made; one creates a lifestyle all their own! Ali and I both share the huge appreciation for music as the ‘music industry’ is both our majors in College, as well as the appreciation to thrive in adventurous and spontaneous travels. Ali and I plan on living together when we are huge and successful music promoters traveling the world with our ‘free spirited’ mentality; to ensure this dream Ali has pro-longed her studies at Regent’s University in London and I aspire to study in Australia in the upcoming year, as both these places ensure well travel and amazing music scenes/opportunities. It is imperative that I visit Australia before I plan to move there, although the issue of money is apparent; therefore for Ali Trovillion and Lauren Labadie to win a free 14-day trip to Australia would me to visit my brother, visit the schools that I aspire to study at, convince Ali to move there as well AND an amazing opportunity to absorb the experience that is Australia. To award Ali and I with the 14-day excursion of a lifetime in Australia, would ensure a trip filled with non-stop exploration, appreciation and expansion of our minds!
