Hi, my name is Stevie Spotts. I am from Lansing, MI. My boyfriends name is Paul DuMars. We met last year in December of 2007 at a night club called, “The Dollar” in East Lansing. We have been dating for a year now. For my boyfriends birthday in September we went to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. I hadn’t been there for 7 years and he hadn’t went since he was a kid… so I thought I’d take my boyfriend there for his birthday; something fun and exciting for just the two of us. So I made a reservation for a hotel and bought our tickets. We drove down in my lil’ VW Beetle. Actually the funny thing is he drove. Well anyways I woke up early, got ready and went over to his house like a 5:00 am to wake him up and get on the road. On our way we stopped at McDonald’s to get ourselves a breakfast sandwich. While I sat in the passenger seat being the co-pilot, I was reading off the directions from MapQuest. The directions I printed off actually gave us the longest route….well we ended up finding our way, with signs. I felt like we were on the game show “Amazing Race.” So we then arrived to the park and there was like still 20 minutes until the park opened but we waited there in the hot sun together until it was finally open. We had a great time together. I had to talk him into riding the Top-Thrill Dragster rollor coaster. It was so high that I couldn’t believe I was the one talking him into it. The lines were so long, we waited and waited, but it was worth the wait. This was our first road-trip together. We had an amazing time together that I’ll never forget. There’s not a moment where we don’t have a good time together. I’d love to take a trip to Australia. I have always wanted to go there. I have never been over-seas. I especially would want me first experience to be with my boyfriend. A time to get away from everything. To escape into paradise and make this moment into something memorable that I’ll cherish for life.
