I’ve been sedentary for a while now. My last trip abroad was last summer.

Although exploring the United States has been fun and I’m nowhere near done, I find myself once again with the itch to explore a completely unknown society and place.

I am going to Costa Rica for an internship all summer, but I would like to backpack in South America afterwards. Does anyone know of any good places to go? I am thinking rural villages as opposed to huge cities.
