If anyone is considering going to Mexico and wants to really get a sense of Mexican culture, I would highly reccomend going to San Blas. It is a small community, it has an interesting history, and about 1% of the population speaks English. There is not a whole lot to do other than meet people and check out the natural beatuy around. Wildlife lovers especially can appreciate the town. Just remember to bring a good amount of bug spray!
