Getting ready for lift off..

My life has taken a complete turn in preparing for this trip. I left my professional job in May to waitress at Dimillo's for the summer, 55-60 hours a week of busting my butt. But I have saved for my entire trip this summer so no messing around. I sold my amazing car with the highest car payment ever and then Jill and I moved into my parent’s house in the beginning of July. Now the trip is only 12 days away!!! Every single bit of it is worth it. This is my dream and it's empowering to know that I have made it happen. Traveling is my true passion. I backpacked Europe for a month in Oct. 05 and that was just a taste for me. So I vowed I would do it again, I would stay longer, see more and experience the world.
My friend Jill was interested in raveling so we decided to do it together. My Believing that there is no such thing as coincidences fate had us book our 'round the world plane ticket exactly one year to the day that we made the pact to go. We are so excited!!! Of course I will miss you all, but you don't have to miss me, you can follow me and I hope you do. I will post entries and pics of all the places I go... Bon Voyage!!!

Wow, that’s committment. I remember meeting an Australian women when I was flying back to Boston, feeling dejected that my semester abroad was over. She told me stories about many travels, and said “don’t worry about the money. If you want to travel, you’ll find a way to make it happen.” It sounds simple, but the reality of it is like you’ve detailed above.

Where are you traveling? How long will you be going? Sounds fantastic! Post lots of blogs and pictures! Have a fantastic time! Cheers – Francesca

That is what working and life is all about… You are not your job, rather your job is a tool to get you where you want to be.

Safe travels… and keep going!
