does anyone know of a really great restaurant in midtown?? not to fancy, but not a dump. and where they wouldn't mind to have like 10-15 teens, which means its usually somewhat noisy. but not any chains like applebees or tgi fridays. THANKS!

Hey hockey2391! Just for future reference, if you click on the Questions/Answers tab up there, you can post questions and get answers. People might be thinking this is just a blog, not a question.

OK, to answer your question – there’s a place called Stout on West 33rd: 133 W 33rd St, New York 10001 Btwn 6th & 7th Ave / 212-629-6191. It’s a pub but it has a pretty big dining room. Hope that helps!

Try Gente for Italian (153 E 45th St (212) 557-5555 or Burger Heaven on49th Street
(20 E 49th St Phone: (212) 755-2166 ) for something more chill. Enjoy!

Totally touristing, but the Stardust Diner is pretty good and it’s just a couple blocks from Times Square, heading north on 7th (I think it’s at 48th Street). It’s a standard diner, but the waitstaff is dressed up in 50s costumes and they do kareoke. Really fun for kids…
