A friend and I were talking last night about how all our travels give our friends and family an excuse to get out! Her parents visited her in Europe when she was studying abroad there and my mom gets to get out of Ohio to see me in New York or my bro in Moab, Utah. Travelers make great people to visit!

Remember this when your parents are questioning your travel plans! Tell them they can come visit you for a weekend or longer and you will be their tour guide.
