This Little Town in Nordrhein called Krefeld

If you've ever been to Germany, the big cities are what really attract the tourists. Krefeld is neither a big city nor a touristy area. It is, however, a small town that I think anyone travelling around Western Germany should visit. In Nordrhein-Westfalia, this mini-city sits just outside Dusseldorf and Cologne (Koln) and only three hours away from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Krefeld not only has fun things to do and see, but also some great places to shop and some amazing food to eat. If you decide to visit, definitely walk around downtown Krefeld, especially the Turkish area, where you can grab a Doner Kebap, a delicious-looking pita sandwich that will definitely complete your appetite. Afterward, check out the Keiser Wilhelm museum that features modern art from all over Germany. Next, head over to East Krefeld and visit the amazing Burg Lynn (castle) where the Roman Empire comes back to life. Later on, check out the bars in downtown Krefeld, maybe the Bar Celona, where beer is served until midnight. Also check out the nightlife because that's where all the hot girls go when they want to have a good time....if there's any time left, walk around rural Krefeld, through neighborhoods and gardens, and even parks where there may be a concert going on.

Thanks for the info, sounds like a nifty place! Do you know of any other castles or quaint little towns around Koln? I’ll be there first week of October, and I want to see as many castles as possible!
