Soon I will be moving to Prishtina, Kosovo to work and study. I actually just returned from my last day of work, so my travel plans are seeming like more of a reality. In two days I am returning to Seattle to visit my family before I leave on this extended trip.

This entire opportunity was all happenstance, but the prospect of nearly a year in Eastern Europe keeps me awake at night with excitement. Although exact expectations are unknown, I look forward to encountering new languages, foods, customs as well as an assortment on new and intriguing people.

Furthermore, living in Eastern Europe should provide me an excellent launch-pad for expeditions to neighboring regions. Places already on my list include: Moscow, Budapest, Sarajevo, Istanbul and more.

It's nearly been a year since I last left the North American continent so I'm just itching for something new.
