Euuugh... since i am leaving in about a month, it was time to get all my vaccines in order. i hate needles.

I consulted the CDC website -- http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/default.aspx -- however, this may only have up to date information for people travelling from North America.
The list for Vietnam recommended: Hep A, Hep B, Tetanus, Typhiod, Japenese Encephilitis, Polio, and Malaria Pills.

I had my appointments yesterday, but what the website failed to tell me was that you cannot get all of your shots on the same day!! For example, you cannot combine typhoid with tetanus- I don't even want to know what happens if you do.

Many of these vaccines take 4 weeks to be effective, so make sure you make your appointments early (6 weeks in advance if you can)and leave time for an error like this.
