Hello there,

My name is Maria. I am 26 and I will be going to grad school this fall. I want to go traveling this summer, but since I have never been anywhere out of the country I am having a realy hard time deciding where to go. Any Ideas? Here are the places that I am really interested in seeing, if you have been to any of them let me know what you liked best and what you disliked:
Morocco, Spain, Ireland, Greece and Italy
I am also liking the idea of going on one of the tours that STA offers. If you've been on one of them tell me about it, I would love to hear your stories and advise. Thanks for reading!

Hey Maude,
Have you figured out a budget for your time and money yet? It is possible that you could see most of these places if you had a month or two!

We have packaged trips that focus on Spain and Italy and Greece with one of our best companies, Contiki.
You could do part of your trip with a group and free style the other part, or mix and match some of the adventures.

The Spanish Spree – 13 days Barcelona to Ibiza
Simply Italy -13 days of fabulous Italy **Mediterranean Highlights – 14 days Madrid to Rome **Rome to Athens (3 day cruise?) – 11/14 Days plus optional greek island cruise

If you link the two ** trips together, we can try to fly you into Madrid and out of Athens.
If we get you booked on a Student ticket with BA, you might have the option to build in a free stop in London. From there we can get you around the UK and over to Ireland.

If you need any help planning your pre grad school summer adventure, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Cheers!
Farah

Hey Maria!

I’ve been to Ireland, and I loved it. Although I didn’t travel through STA. I had connections where I got to work for a free ticket! I would definately suggest Ireland.

If you go, you have to visit two cities, and try three different things.

I. Dublin: It’s great walking around this old city, but very difficult to get out, the public transportation isn’t perfect.

2. Cork: In southern Ireland, Beautiful rolling hills, and the atmosphere is really unique.

And for the three things you have to try:
Spend time in a small town local pubs and talk to the regulars.
Stay in a small town.
Explore a ruin! Really cool!

Hey Maude! Have you figured out where you want to go? Im going to Western Europe this summer (which I went to last summer and it was amazing), and I am also going to Eastern Australia!! Im going on contiki trips! Let me know if you have any questions about Contiki. I intern for them and can get you a discount!

But really, I promise Im not biased when I say how amazing and fun they are. And I really like all the choices of tours they have.
